Guys, I wanted to clarify that I highlighted the legality issue simply because as an ex-Police Officer I have experience of Ofcom's predesessor (the Radio Agency) enforcing a seizure (which they can do without warrant) and wouldn't want anyone to be the subject of seizure, a prosecution and loss of their GPS kit for the sake of a 20 Quid FM Modulator.

The chances of causing an actual nuisance with one are slim but the repercussions if you do get caught aren't worth the risk! It is another one of the UK's many legal anomalies thatwhilst use of such devices is unlawful, the sale of them is not.
