My bluetooth transmitter is about 7 months old. I find the lockup and drain scenario to make the unit nearly unusable. I wonder if there is a firmware update (or maybe TomTom will replace the hardware) that fixes this problem. Does anyone know if more-recent-vintage units still have this problem.

A related question: TomTom says that the lockup only occurs when the battery is nearly drained, so the drain procedure is only a minor problem. I don't find this to be the case - it will lockup when connected to external power. Anyone else?
