I doing something dumb again!
Planning a rout to start from another location, i.e not home or present location. I've set drive by's and checked it out. But navigation is allways begining from where I am (GPS location). How can I stop this from happening?
Thanks _________________ Fraserp

Go to the location where you want to start navigating from?
I am not sure why you would want to do this. If you explained this, an answer may be easier.
If it is for a future trip create an itinery then save it, then clear it. Load it when you need it.
If you want to drive without using the navigator function, program the route then turn guidance off. |

I am running it from an itinerary that is already created.
I just want to:-
1) load a route and view it.
2) go over a planned route from the intended starting point, not anywhere else.
The only way that ihave , just, found is to turn off the GPS SW, then the start location appears. But I keep being prompted to load a BT device...
On my system, turning guidance off, stops route calculation, and the route is not displayed.
As I said earlier, it's probably me doing smething dumb!

Look at it in map view rather than in Navigator?
After planning the route in itinery, click on the map button. |

If you want to review a route from a saved itinieary, you may have to reset the start point:
1. Open itinieary
2. Tap and hold on your start point, probably item 1 and sellect "Set as Depature"
3. Run "PLAN", you will probably be asked to confirm sart point from a drop-down window which should NOW include your choice.
4. Go to MAP and the route (as per the Itinieary) should be set.
Hope this answers your question _________________ John
