BMW have announced that from September this year, satellite navigation will become a standard feature in all its cars, regardless of trim specification.
For a company synonymous with lengthy option lists its a bold move and further marks the move of satnav from must have gadget to basic feature.
BMW's basic satnav features a 6-inch display and 3D mapping but fear not. Fans of the option lists and those with deep pockets can choose to upgrade to BMW Professional which comes with a larger display, Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) and other extras such as 3D buildings.

Is it just me or is this just a way for them to get an income stream from users updating their incomplete gps database! _________________ Nuvi 3598 LMT-D, TT 730, BMWs rubbish SatNav |
