Devices shown in database for touch and connect show CSV files yet user Manuel for touch and connect show files have to be ASC format. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is the correct format. |

Have you tried it with the CSV download? The internal format is the same so if it doesn't detect it then you can simply change the filename to be from .csv to .asc
If that then works I can change the generated file to be .asc instead
However, I had this message from a user the other day:
Quote: | Subject: Vauxhall Antara csv file
I followed your info with regard to Nissan connect file, and can confirm having installed into my system (Antara touch & connect) and tested in demo mode poi warnings do work OK , no problem with recognition through USB
thanks for the tutorial

Have just downloaded uk speed camera database as Other asc. Have followed the installation instructions for asc. format and have successfully installed database to my 2012 Antarra. Have tried it in demo mode and also on road test and can confirm all is working fine although the distance b4 warning is pretty short. |

The warning distance is a function of the satnav not the camera database. Is there not a setting in the software to adjust the warning distance? |

Thanks M8TJT, have looked at setup on navigation and have found the warning distance adjustment, and have now set it to 450yds, hopefully that will be sufficient.
I am very pleased with the pocketgpsworld database, thanks guys. |
