I have a tt one xl with a western europe map on it but lately when I boot it up just have a blue screen no map showing everything else seems normal voices etc, any ideas.

Does the screen change if you connect the ONE XL to your computer via USB and switch it on?
Have you tried all the normal "first response" actions when there is a problem especially the RESET process?
To do a reset on an original "ONE XL", use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset button inside the hole on the bottom of the unit for at least 15 to 20 seconds.
On a new "XL" model press and hold the On/Off button until your device restarts. This takes at least 15 to 20 seconds.
If that doesn't fix it, try these....(rather then write it all out again, can I point you to a round-up I did on another forum?)

Hi Andy, thanks for replyI can connect the device to my pc & tt home recognises and updates map but on normal boot same blue screen if I tap screen I get into menu as normal.
Have also done a reset twice.

OK, make a full backup by copying EVERYTHING from the XL to your PC. Don't use Home for this, use the Windows Explorer method I describe HERE.
Then reinstall the Navcore software as described in the second of the links in my first reply. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Already done this Andy m8 deleted all files on device installed a new navcore and istalled the latest UK & Roi map untit works perfect now it was the Western Europe map that was thecause of the problem (to big for flash) can put the western europe map on SD card if and when needed.
