i'm intrigued / nosey (delete as applicable) about people's usernames. some are blatantly obvious (boring) such as 'Darren' and others are somewhat more bizarre...

so, i thought i'd start a little thread about YOUR username, how you chose it and what it means to you.

so... who's first?

Well, I twigged yours straight off, I can admire somebody who uses his number plate as his username. But what happens when the car wears out?

On the other hand, the story behind mine is dead intriguing!

OK, here's a start - my mum and dad gave me this name.

One down, two to go. (Or one, if you recognise old Number Plate).

You mean like the one about how everybody on the plane to Corfu thought I was Superman because I was wearing my Superman T-shirt?

You're right, I am someone to be admired. Supreme Angel.
I just swap it from car to car Bouncing . The police don't like it, something about 'ringing' that I don't really fully understand Confused . My 07 Honda is not as old as the plate suggests. Taunt
I wonder if G1LIV is anything to do with amateur radio, as in callsign?

Do you also promise to explain the strange capitalisation, as I thought that yor keyboard had no shift key. But I suppose you just rely on the auto-correct Shocked

Yep, it's auto-correct - try it, type MaFt and dennisn with just little writing, I just did. I believe it cost him a very substantial bribe to the boss of auto-correct - anybody can arrange the same, it just needs much moolah, as in lottery win, upon which I am still waiting (so I use the shift key). Very Happy

yeah, but that's the boring bit of the story...! Laughing Out Loud

as for swapping plates, it cost me about £80 to transfer from my old car to the 'new' one... thing is, the 'new' car only cost £500 so to transfer it cost me an extra 16%!! gutted... but still, it meant the M4FT-mobile lived on :D
