Information please:
Can Gerry's 24 x 24 speed camera icons be used on a Garmin Nuvi 1300?
To load onto Nuvi do I copy them into the updated GPSW extracted files folder on PC & then use POI loader as per the usual download - or do it differently?
(I assume that I would have to do it each time I load the updated GPSW database or they would be overwritten?)
How do I delete the Garmin cameras - I'm not sure where the file is kept.
Thank you |

I believe the 24x24 icons work on the Nuvi. After unzipping the downloaded database, overwrite the bmp files from the download with the ones I did then go through the POILoader stuff as you said.
You'll have to do this every time but if you keep the icons in a folder you can copy/paste them in one go in seconds.
Sorry, don't know about the Garmin cameras. _________________ Gerry

to simply disable them go to settings / proximity alerts and then untick the garmin one
to physically remove, connect nuvi to computer and find a file called 'cyclops.gpi' then delete it

Thanks GerryC and MaFt for reply.
I can confirm that the 24 x 24 icons do work on the Nuvi 1300. |
