Help....I've forgotten my Boy Scout days !
The 'GoTo' Setting is looking for 2x5 numeric positions...please remind me...how do I put in Grid Reference SU 942 / 149., (94200 / 14900 ?)

You have to put in the extra decimal positions so as you say put zero in those. Obviously you can make your required position more precise by putting figures in, it's not too difficult if you have taken the position off the 1:25000.
Off direct subject but if you are using the X;Y coordinate system offered you put an additional digit in front of the grid ref. and dispense with the letters. You will find that number by looking in the map corners(small number in front of the grid number).
EDIT: The choice of the word decimal is poor and misleading the digits are tens of metres and metres. |
