|
|
I understand with navcore from 8.300(?) onwards that iq routes calculates by the time of day where as for instance 8.010 calculates by weekday or weekend only.
I have map 805 on my 730 and don't really have the need to upgrade my map. I'm currently running navcore 8.302 but want to rollback to 8.010 as there are a few things I dislike greatly with the newer software.
When I rollback to 8.010 iq routes will calculate by weekday/weekend only but as I only have map 805 is it just calculating this way anyway (weekend/weekday) even though I'm running navcore 8.302?
Thanks |

If you're sure you want to, see the information in Mike Alder's post found here
BUT....
I strongly suggest you make a complete Explorer, not Home, backup first and ensure hidden files/folders are showing. _________________ David |

You need a v815 or newer map to use the IQ Routes-2 capability where you get routes based upon day of week and time of day, your maps will only contain IQ Routes-1 data so whatever Navcore you put on the device you won't get routes from IQ-2 without a new map - Mike |

Thanks very much for the quick responses.
I thought that this was the case but couldn't find anything in black and white that specifically answered the question and yes, I've made a backup first using explorer |
