|
I updated my map recently (GB and Ireland) and It does not have any of the map corrections I made.
I still have a backup of the previous map, with corrections, Is there any way I can import my map corrections from it ?
(nb I have a TT Go 500 with navcore 7.903)
EDIT
Sorry ! I've just found another thread where this question was posted a couple of months ago. I guess there is no change to what was said then.

To save other readers bothering, that thread confirms that map corrections you make but which have not yet been incorporated into the map do NOT come forward with your new map - if TT haven't accepted your corrections for updating the map, you have to do them all over again to benefit from them.
In case you don't know also, the map corrections which you do on your GB & Ireland map are NOT shared with me when I download map corrections, because I have a different map (Western Europe, which includes all your maps). When I do a correction to a GB part of my map, the correction is not downloaded to your map.

Very boring, isn't it.
I must have re-done some of the same corrections half a dozen times now.
Now TeleAtlas is owned by TomTom, they've promised a quicker route from MapShare corrections to inclusion in new maps, but they are taking it very slowly. |
