I've been content to plod along with my TT5 for ?yrs whilst waiting for a TT upgrade to justify a move on from my 2210. Still waiting but now v interested in an HTC Touch HD with my phone contract renewal.
Is TT5 on an HTC Touch HD a feasible upgrade path and delay a decision on my satnav software “upgrade”?
I can live with my maps being dated as long as TT5 works smoothly on the new hardware. _________________ Terry:

I don't think this will work, TTN6 won't run on the HD so on those grounds TTN5 should be the same, and the maps you are using will be considerably out of date by now.
TomTom Navigator 7 does run on the HD but its not available for purchase.
I-Go is known to work on the HD, and I think McGuider is another navigation package that will work with your phone.
ALK were hinting at releasing a version of Co-Pilot to run on the HD but I am not too sure if thats available as yet - Mike |

Thanks for your comments MIke.
The comments about the McGuider routing "funnies" would annoy me considerably. To me it would be worse than having my old TT5 maps!
IGO looks impressive but two things put me off:
1 The problem of converting POIs.
2 Not being able to put IGO onto a larger mini SD.
Have you or anyone got further comments on my upgrading? Should I just delay further? _________________ Terry:
