Hi and welcome.
If you have already subscribed and downlaoded the files, add them to the folder on your PC where you keep your POIs and then follow the same procedure as you did with the POIs. The Speed Camera files are just the same as the POIs files. |

You need to put all the CSV files and their corresponding BMP files together in one folder on your PC.
Then follow the instructions here |

Fab! I can do that.
How does the POI get connected to bmp? Is it the POI program that does it? I had a look at the CSV file in exel and none of the lines mention the bmp. Also, am I right in saying the Kenwood DNX5220bt isnt able to have the voices for the speed cams ? |

The CSV and the BMP must have the same name
i.e.
GATSO.CSV
GATSO.BMP
Sainsburys.csv
Sainsburys.bmp
and then POILoader then knows to pair them together....
Sadly, no the Kenwood models don't support the voice alerts. |

I understand now!
Do I just use the manual mode in the garmin software to set distance etc to POI? |

No. Just use Express. POILoader is quite clever and recognises words like GATSO, REDLIGHT, MOBILE and SPECS. It then sets up alerts for those files automatically.
Normal POIs, such as Sainsburys, you can set alerts for using manual Mode but i don't recommend it. It [BONG] gets very [BONG] annoying [BONG] driving around [BONG] town and [BONG] having the alerts [BONG] sounds every [BONG] few seconds / [BONG] minutes....... [BONG]. POILoader won't set up alerts for the normal (shop type) POIs...
Finally the first time you run POILoader on one screen you'll be given and option for the units to use. Make sure you select MPH and not the default KPH, else the alerts will happen at funny speeds, like 19 mph instead of 30 mph.....
Later you can start using Ash10s Camera Manager to download and customise the alert distances - see here. However i'd get used to the basics first.... |

Cheers!
Thats what I was going to do, take off the bongs for none cams but if its all setup already, no need too. Will have to find out if the bong can be changed to something else. |
