I'd like to be able to play back on MM on a PC the route I've driven using TT. I've got an EMTAC BT so data logging isn't an option. Talking to Mike and Darren the general consensus is that it wasn't possible.
However, I've just found Richard's Log Converter program. Will this do as I want?
Cheers

Should be pretty easy. The TomTom GPS tracks (the PGL files) are standard text files and simply list the NMEA sequences. No magic there. Any program that can import NMEA sequences should work fine.
There are four lines at the beginning of the PGL file that can be ignored (or deleted if they disturb the import) _________________ Lutz

Yes my program will do it. Use the Option menu to select Maptech as default, Open a TomTom log file (.pgl) and use the Save button to convert the log. Then import the .txf file into Memory-Map.
The program expects the log file to be NMEA sentences (these are output to the log file by my TTN2/EMTAC BT setup).

I know this is an old thread, but it was offered by a Google search for PGL files.
I have TomTom Navigator 5 on my Palm TX. I haven't been able to find an option to track movements -- can TTN5 do that, or am I wasting my time looking? I do have CetusGPS and I know that can track, but I don't think I can run TTN5 and Cetus simultaneously on the TX -- or can I? |

Yes it is a shame but the logging feature was not implemented in TTN5. Let's hope that it is restored some time.
Perhaps someone else can advise you about the use of CetusGPS with TTN5.
