|
if anybody can help i have a nuvi 610 uk ireland v10 maps and the voice has gone west. not getting a peep out if it, than all of a sudden i will get the voice and half way through the sentence it pack's up again, then nothing for mile or so then same thing then pack's up again then nothing until you switch off/on then same thing happens . thanks for the help in advance |

On the i3 there used to be a fix for this where you change from the voice you want to another one and then back. This used to fix some corrupt voices.
The other thing you could try is to remove the voice file by copying it to your PC and then deleting it from the Nuvi, then see if WebUpdater offers the voice for download again and re-download it. Only do this if you know which file you want to delete and how to restore the files. Do it at your own risk.

it happen's with a all bog standard nuvi voice's [ie british english + american english ] all over voice's are foreign. |

So did any of the above help? Did you make a backup of the files on the Nuvi when you first got it? If so you can try restoring the voice files. |

i wouldn't know where to start?
i also don't want to invalidate the warranty if i do something wrong.
