Did you do an Explorer Backup? Or a HOME.
Are you using an SD Card?
What was the error that came up after the Restore? It could be relevant.
Which version of software was in use at the time?
Although you say the battery is not flat, have you tried it on the Windscreen Mount with the Power on?
We can't see what you can see, so need to ask loads of questions. _________________ Richard

Is that connecting it to or disconnecting it from the car?
Do you have the "Switch off when external power is lost" option selected in battery saving preferences? _________________ Andy

Have you tried a 30 sec pin-in-the-hole Reset?
If that doesn't work, then you would be better off replacing the system files.
This post shows TTs response to a similar problem.
But before you do anything, do a Windows Explorer Backup. _________________ Richard

speedtouch2511,
Now that you have it working please make sure you make another backup using Explorer to copy all the files. I had the same problem as you with my Go 720 and just deleted everything then copied my Out-of-the-Box backup files onto it.
Believe me it's a great comfort to have those files available.
Then backup again the same way before you do any updating etc. It saves you scratching your head to remember what you have added to it if you have to restore again. _________________ TT Go Essential |
