As long as you are still a subscriber, you can download the latest POIs and icons at any time from here. If you are now on a new PC, it may be easiest just to do the full download from scratch.
If it's the new icons, see the link in my sig. _________________ Gerry

Terry, as you're still a subscriber, simply re-download the latest database from our site and re-import to your Garmin using POILoader. _________________ Darren Griffin |

This is interesting. I have a nuvi 250w, and have used poiloader (from my Apple Powerbook) to install the speed camera database on my Garmin. However, I have no fancy icons or anything like that - just a simple warning across the top of the screen, with a simple "speed camera" icon on the road (in 3D view).
Can I add icons? How?
Sorry - new to this - have read and re-read many threads, but ... |

Which database did you install? Single file, Consolidated or Speed Zoned? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have also reported this. I don't know if it is a problem with the format of downloads (have they changed?) or Garmin unit SW or Garman POI SW but clearly something is wrong here.
I have tried all 3 download types - same problem just a grey dot showing up.
See here...

Nick, the issue reported here is not necessarily the same, ArchChancellor has icons albeit the basic Gatso ones which suggest he installed only the Single file database.
The OP has yet to respond to our replies but it is far from clear that his issue is the same as yours.
We have not changed the format of our bitmap icons and have not to my knowledge had a flood of issues recently but we'll test on the Garmin devices we do have to verify it's all working. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for your patience - I have solved my problem, the icons show up perfectly. The error was mine - - I didn't want the pMobile cameras in my POIs so I moved the other database files to a folder and pointed POILoader at that. Stupidly I didn't include the icon files in that folder - doh! (Don't ask why I didn't simply delete the pmobile POIs ... )
So the icons DO show up on my Garmin, which is btw a 200w not 250w. (I assume that these are identical apart from the maps loaded on them - although perhaps the 250w has more memory ) |

As far as I know, the 22x22 will work and probably the 24x24 as well. I would recommend that you get it all back working with the default ones before doing any extras for now. Did the above get everything back? _________________ Gerry
