Hi guys,
I have a 210T and consider myself a bit of a boffin on the Medion low-end kit. I have sucessfully modded mine to access the desktop etc, but must confess that after reading several threads here, have shied away from putting TomTom on it. All the people I have seen here that have tried it have experienced a lot of hassle getting it to fix it's position. My honest advice would be to steer well clear of it. The version of windows on the Medion devices appears to be a 'tweaked' version that does not take kindly to anything other than Medion software being put on it!!
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I agree!!
The Medion software is perfectly OK for most users.
Pls feel free to screw up your 205...loads have in the past....
Be VERY careful that you don't lose the GPS functionality...
Pls bear in mind that the 205 has had most of the Windows CE software ripped out & is NOT as easily moddable as the 210.
I've spent HOURS on PM's/MSMming trying to 'fix' probs such as these...no offence to you BUT I ain't anymore.....
My missus will shoot me!!
What advantages does the TT software offer?????
Cheers

Gary....The quiz went quite well!!!! Might advance to a 210...or even better ( )

Pls have a look at the Medion website..it's the only (as far as I can tell) legitimate outlet for such updates. You will've gathered that the forum is very anti snidey software...& quite right too!!!
However, (forgive me, it's been a long while since I tooled about with a 205)..I suspect that the upgrades are software based, not actual mapware. _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD
