How comprehensive is the list? I know 200,000 is a lot, but when I looked within Chinese restaurants there was no mention of Ken Lo....quite a famous one and used to be considered the best in the UK.
I've seen a lot of mentions of people nuking their device's POI lists in favour of the one here, but perhaps that isn't quite wise.
p.s. you're missing the Nando's in South Kensington too :p |

They're as good as we make them!
Can you submit those two you know of? There's an on-line form and map HERE
Personally, I see no reason to "nuke" the built-in ones, (especially on a TomTom as you can now merge yours with them if you want, so you don't get duplicate categories, see HERE for how). |

yes indeed - that's why I couldn't believe what I was reading when people claimed they were nuking their default POIs!!!
I was really making sure I was using the CSVs properly and not being silly.
Lol, I can submit a hell of a lot more than those two. Most of the restaurants I know of aren't there. I can also check for a few other categories.
I should also add a category 'Nice clean open access toilets' or 'P stops' :p
e.g. starbucks (clean is quesitonable though), hotels etc .
But yes I'll add the stuff I can think of later. |

I don't know what brand of satnav you're using, but I'm guessing it ISN'T a TomTom.
Two reasons...
1. you mention csvs
2. the TomTom POIs really ARE awful. No Chinese restaurants at all in the UK and certainly no Nandos.
So nuking the TomTom ones doesn't do much harm!! |

AHAHAHAHA. That is funny. Bang on, I don't have a tomtom.
Only gps i currently have is the onboard on my dad's car (merc 2007 command) and that has a ton of good POIs I have to admit. No nandos or kfc, BK, zizzi etc afaik tho :p
Yes, but CSVs work on MS excel too :p |
