The pre-installed POIs are 'built-in' and cannot easily be removed. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The TT Pois are handled different to custom POIs. They are in a File called poi.dat.
To mess around with that file is too complicated, and also against the EULA.
It depends which Map you have but the same Topic is mentioned Here, and the 3rd Post has a Link which might help you. _________________ Richard

TT refer both to their own POIs and any you add yourself by the same name.
It was confusing that you had to remember you could edit/delete your own POIs but not theirs.
But now, with the launch of 'MapShare' you CAN edit or delete theirs too (if you have a PNA with compatible maps and software).
Typically, you do this in two completely different ways, using two different menus, but they still refer to them both as "POIs", making it even MORE confusing.

Sorry for the "TLA", should have just said "stand-alone satnav" or something like that. |
