I have just received by my 910 after borrowing to someone, and the favourite display has changed and i'm unable to find how to switch it back to the previous view.
It now displays the favourites with only 2 showing at the top scroll option, otherwise you choose from the alphabet
previous you could scroll up/down through them all, any help welcome,

My 920 is a little different from your 910, but I too get only 2 names to start with. In mine, there's a Down arrow on the right which I tap to produce a longer list.
I see you have a down arrow on the left (alongside Bowlers). Try tapping that and see if you get a result.

Did you have a display with no keyboard shown?
Or three favourites and a keyboard?
First one. More Favourites have been added.
Second one. In Change Preferences, you can change Keyboard Preferences to a Small Keyboard.
You can also change it to a Qwerty Keyboard. _________________ Richard

Bolly your friend has turned your tomtom into a left handed unit! To get it to go back to a right handed unit go to change preferences and keep tapping the screen till you get to screen 5 there you will see a command to change to a right handed operation!
Unless of course you want it as a left handed device? |

Nope, that's irrelevant to this problem. I have mine set to left-handed.
I have been trying to get that screen to show immediately on my XL (may be slightly different but many things are the same). Mine defaults to a plain list (no keyboard) like DennisN's second screenshot. The only way I can get bolly's to appear is by tapping the "Find" button on that screen - ie it works in the opposite way to DennisN.
I have version 7.162. I'm not sure what DennisN was using (he has so many ). My best assumption is that your friend updated the software on your device. Have you asked what he/she did to it? _________________ Gerry

Totally normal behaviour.
As said above..... it is simply that more favourites have been added.
More than 12 you get the keyboard, less than 12 you don't. |

GRRRRR!! Smartypants Southerner Softypants!! Is there anything you don't know, Andy?
Yessssss!! How many fingers am I holding up? (and though you might deduce logically that the answer is somewhere between 1 and 3, that would be wrong, cos I'm not that sort of person). _________________ Dennis

Gosh Dennis, I don't know who is funnier, you or Andy, but I really appreciate the humour you both show.
p.s. I'm not sure whether I typed this properly... I have coffee streaming down the monitor from your last comment. |
