Hi
I am about to start the 'knowledge' ( ie become a london black cab driver)
during this process I am told that I will visit over 10,000 'points', it should take about 2 years!
But what I want to do (with your help!) is to somehow store all these points on my tomtom either direct or on a card and be able to use once Im working.
I belive that this would be a great collection as the range is quite extentisve.
Any susgustion would be welcome!

Depends on how you want to do it...
If you want to add the points as you visit them, just make a new POI category on the TomTom (Change preferences/Manage POIs/Add POI category) then when ever you want to add a point just add your GPS position as a POI (Change prefs/Manage POIs/Add POI/Pick your new category/Gps Position.
If you're in a hurry, just save your GPS position as a favourite (less button presses and re-save it as a POI later.
If you are going to be given a list of points that you want to load in, there are various tools to convert lists, but you'll need to know what format they are in (Latitudes and Longitudes, addresses, postcodes, or just road descriptions?).
Let us know what you've got.... |

You could even set up the POI alerts to say things like "You'll never guess who I had in the back of the cab last week..." ![Laughing](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |
