Hi does anyone know of anyway of un installing an update... if you have seen any of my other threads u will know ive just got a 660FM and had an issue, exchanged it today and used it straight away and noticed when i connected it to my phone via bluetooth it read the text messages fine ok it split the big ones up but all words were there fine. When I got home ran the update and there was a bluetooth update I installed it and now though it works long text messages are still split in 2 but it has symbols where some words should be !@ etc, any ideas....
Thanks |

I assume you mean a firmware update.
You can load an old firmware update but I'd ask Garmin to send it to you unless you can really trust another site offering it for download.
Back up your favourites first using EasyGPS as a downgrade will wipe these out. |

The Bluetooth firmware can be downgraded independently of the main firmware if you kept a copy of the previous version - (006B055301.gcd) - unfortunately, it's not available to download. I kept a copy of V2.40 (which I re-installed) but it's not mine to distribute :-(
Garmin support should be able to provide you with a copy. |
