Hi,
Did a search but couldn't seem to find anything on this - apologies if already covered.
Last night I paid TomTom for a new map (GB plus major European roads) ver 6.75. This was for my GO500 version 6.52. I got an email confirmation that my payment was authorised. The confirmation stated that I would shortly receive another email with download instructions. No such email has been received. I checked "My Orders" on their site and saw the order. I waited a while then tried to download via TomTom Home but it told me there were no updates available. I waited a while longer by which time I got another email from TomTom attaching my invoice for the payment. I checked again in "My Orders" and the status was still showing as not shipped. I went back to TT Home and tried to download just in case and got the "No Updates Available" message again. And so it remains. I have paid but got no map Checked again this am but the order status is juast as it was last night - not shipped (horrible American term).
I have emailed TomTom attaching the authorisation and invoice emails and asked them to revert with an explanation as to why no map. It's early days and I am hoping they will resolve shortly - we'll have to see. In the meantime I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem? Last time I ordered a download (TT safety cameras) the download was available almost immediatley.
Thanks |

I'm having *exactly* the same issue. I paid for a map of Italy last night, got the confirmation emails but never got a link for the download and the website is very unclear as to where I could download it from. Any ideas, anyone? |

mgmidget66 - You don't get a link. It SHOULD appear ready for download in "Home".
daddyslaphead - are you logged in to Home with the email address that is linked to that Go500? |

Aha! Answered my own question! I didn't realise you had to use TomTom Home to download the maps. All sorted now. Proves I should RTFM I guess... |

Hi Andy & thanks for the response.
Yes. I was logged in on my normal home email address as linked to the GO500. I checked again - no reply from TT and the order status isn't updated.
