What are you using to unzip the Files?
It's not an error message I'm familar with.
What is 'the location' that you mention?
A bit more info will start us on the road to getting you up and running. _________________ Richard

back in the old days of floppy discs you could span zip files over multiple discs and if you didn't have all the parts you would get this error. quite how this has happened i'm not sure..
have you tried re-downloading it and trying again?
as oldboy says: what software are you using?

Even in the modern day, you can create multiple parts of a single zipfile. I understand that a certain 'quick share' site has a file limit of 100Mb, so spanning is a requirement. _________________ Tim |

The PocketGPS website says that you must use the StuffIt software to unzip it rather than just using the standard windows method which would generate an error. I used the StuffIt software and it said that the zip file is corrupt! So seeking help! |

On a Windows based PC you should use the zip software to unzip the files (note Windows XP can support extraction of files from zipped folders directly)
Stufit is for use with the mac platforms IIRC - Mike |

You can find where that was typed Here - But as I said before it was with respect to using a mac based computer, so unless there are some instructions that are wrong elsewhere there isn't a problem - Mike |

That is how I have to download the POI files as well, its a known problem with IE7, you could always download and install FireFox - that works with the downloads section much better, otherwise just remember to click the check box for the link - Mike |

Perhaps it should be mentioned the other well discussed problem when downloading combined sub categories, you may have a problem when downloading say shopping sub categories above approx 23 entries, you should then download2-3 sets and append them all in poiedit to combine them and save altogether, not forgetting to also use the show link method for each download. |
