Hi Everbody,
I am new to sat nav and just purchased a Mio 510 E with Miomap 3.2 installed.
1. The questions i want to ask is the GPSW camera database better than the Mio one and is it worth £19 a year and is it updated regular.
2. Do all the functions on the Mio camera settings still function i.e visual and audible warnings etc.
3. Can you still add cameras ect.
4. And does it still use the camera graphics that are installed on the Mio 510 E.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

The PGPSW database is very much more accurate and is updated about twice a month. Everything operates exactly the same as before and you can add your own cameras if you find any new ones that aren't already included. You can always subscribe for just one month for £2 to try it out.

Thanks Sallyann I will now subscribe and download the database.
Just one more question in the instructions about the Mio transfer software mentioned it says locate the \miomap\miotc\pois\ folder and delete BOTH of the files there (if you like, copy them to your PC first).
Does that mean the SpeedCams.mtc file and the other file located in the folder I think it is a POI file, do I need that file at all or do I have to replace it.

The other file (poiupdates) is where the Mio keeps a record of cameras that you have manually entered or edited, and sometimes you can create an edit record just by clicking on a camera.
Any entries in the updates file might conflict with the cameras in the new PGPSW file so it's best to remove it. Next time you start Miomap it will automatically create a new empty file. You can then start editing the new file if you find a change
