I have TT6 and a holux 236 that run on my 2200PPC. When I first got it everything ran smoothly. I formatted my 2GB SD card in FAT and the program worked very well. That is however, until recently when TT6 can't find my GPS signal. When I try and configure by BT reciever in TT6, it shuts out almost instantly and goes right back to the map. At first I thought this was maybe a memory issue, but I'm not really sure. It worked for a week and now nothing. Any ideas? |

First place to start would be to delete the pairing of the device and re-pair them in the bluetooth settings. There is documentation on this on the Holux site in the user manual. I use the Holux reciever with no probs daily. Sounds like you might have a port conflict in the pairings. Are you using any other Bluetooth devices?
Also, I would suggest posting this in the Holux forum not here. The Holux guys are hot on support and will probably help you out but in this forum you'd be lucky to be spotted. Or pehaps even call them directly. They have helped me out previously with a Holux CR100 issue swiftly and pleasantly even though the issue was software based not Holux based. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

And at the risk of being a bit arsey, posts with titles like 'any thoughts?' or the worst one 'HELP!' are less likely to be read. Put some idea of the nature of your post in the subject and you'll be more likely to get a response. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

"Any thoughts" on what?
(I hate it when a thread is non-descriptively titled, and I never read them) |

Can you see the irony in your post? _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

There's no irony. I'm responding to the lazy, idiotic title, and not reading the OP.
Just as I said I would do. |

May I apologise traumaturtle on behalf of other "advanced" members of this forum who might believe that your post was lazy or idotic. This is your first post I know, but a clearer description of an issue does help! _________________ XDA Orbit (the best so far)

".....and I never read them.... "
But you read it. There's the irony.
Never mind. Hope we gave traumaturtle some info even if we didn't give him a giggle. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Actually no, I didn't read it. I don't have the first clue what his post is about, and that's how I'll leave it.
'Nuff said. |
