Try a pin-in-the-hole Reset. Hold it in for about 30secs. _________________ Richard

More or less exactly the same thing happened to me when I first set my TT ONE up. Did a backup, and then an update, and suddenly it went dead. One reset later and all was well again, but it was a bit scary for a while!
Maybe an issue with the new software, or is it common to need a hard reset after an update? |

One V2's are often doing this. |

Mine TT1 v2 has just done exactly the same thing- thanks for the advice. If this problem is so common would it be worth putting it up as a Sticky? |

My tt one europe has frozen when i tried to update it on tt home, mine doesn't have an sd card, and I've tried to reset it 5 times now and nothing changes. all I get is the splash screen then an image of the tt one and a flashing red cross.
Any help would be greatly appreciated |

I have a recent backup stored on my desktop (obtained by copying the contents, including hidden files and folders, to the PC using a card reader). Then if anything goes wrong after using TomTom Home, as it has a couple of times, I format the SD card and copy the backup to the card. All is then fine again
