|
|
Firstly, my apologies if this question appears twice, but on the previous version I omotted to enter a subject.I
I have a Go 700, using App v6.150 and Maps v568.0. I understand how to record and set up the individual POI warnings sounds using .ogg files instead of the older data.chk method. I also understand that the latest version of the Go software update has removed the facility to individually set advanced warning distances, (i.e. that they are all set to the same default distance).
1) Can anyone confirm if this is correct please, before I download the latest software update v6.52?
2) If the answer to the above question is “yes”, is there a fix to enable me to set my own advanced warning distances, as in the previous issue?
3) I would be grateful for any other associated tips / advice regarding the above.
My thanks

You can still select the warning distance for POIs using the software version you quote and use the ogg files. This only works correctly with true ov2 POI files, the camera database from PGPSW is fine and can be configured this way, the database from TomTom cannot do this - Mike |

Thanks Mike. Does anyone know if Tom Tom are going to address this issue in future releases?

Why not ask them & give us all a laugh by posting their reply? |
