|
|
Ive just updated my GO700 with the latest western europe map (660) and also decided to subscribe to the Safety Cameras..
Everything has installed ok... but.... with the Safety Cameras should it be a visable in Manage POI's and enable and disable POIs... or is the only option to enable and disable within Safety Camera Warnings menu..?
Also when i go to update... either via the pc or via GPRS it comes up with i need to create an account to buy tom tom plus services??
I log into tom tom via Edit My Tom Tom Plus Account, the login & password are there and it logs in ok... it brings up t mobile hotspots, safety cameras uk, jwire hotspots (obviously after selecting Great Britain!) it then comes up with need to create an account?? Thing is though i have?!!?
Any ideas?
Cheers

If you've bought the inferior TT speedcams they are not under "manage POI's" but somewhere in "TT Plus" area. |

With my new GO710 I activated the free TT cameras trial and found not only were they poor, but I could only enable/disable them in the safety cameras menu under TT Plus and could not do anything about the warning sounds. Your 700 will be the same. Having been spoilt for over a year by the cameras from this site, I promptly reverted to them and disabled the TT ones (the only way to stop the useless bleep warnings).
You have my heartfelt simpathy. Weep, put it down to experience and get the cameras from here.
If you feel you must persist with the TT ones, try asking TT why you can't use your account to get updates to the cameras. _________________ Dennis
