|
|
I have just purchased a Nuvi 360 and I must say is a great bit of kit!
The problem I have now is when I turn it on it connects to my Samsung D900 handset but doesn't sync the phone book and will not alow me to take any calls. An incoming call is only registered on the D900 not the Nuvi.
I'm sure it worked fine until I did a software update including adding some custom POI's. Sometimes it does show the phone book but when I go back in it can't find it???
Very confused and getting frustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Software versions are;
360 v3.30
GTM v3.70
GPS v2.90
Blutooth v2.40 |

The D900 isn't listed on the Garmin website, so I assume it's quite a new phone. As such, it might need a newer Bluetooth firmware for full support. |

I thought this myself but I think I read somewhere people are using a D900 with no problems so there must be a cure for my probs.
Thanks for getting back.
Any other ideas anyone?? |

I was just looking for a post on this very subject. My Motorola V3i connects to my nuvi 660 perfectly well, sharing phonebook and everything.
Last night I tried to connect my wife's Samsung D900, but failed. Although it found the phone OK, whenever it connected, the bluetooth on the nuvi crashed to disabled, and forced me to restart the unit.
Again, I'm assuming it's down to an incompatibility issue yet to be resolved. My fingers are crossed for a firmware update soon, as otherwise I'm in trouble after justifying the nuvi purchase to my wife on the basis of its bluetooth hands-free functionality... :-)
