|
|
Hi, Please bear with me as i am new to this.
I have downloaded latest file of speed camera database and installed files onto Navicore personal 2005 on my mobile(motorola a1000)
It all installs correctly etc, but when i view map the camera locations are scattered everywhere, even off roads and not where they should be.
Locations all seem wrong as if co-ordinates are incorrect.
Please help if this makes sense to anyone???
Kind Regards |

Hi Paul,
I download the database from here under tom tom as a singleov2 file.
I then converted it on my navigater extension editet on pc which converts it to .nce file.
I uploaded to my phone in to extensions folder.
once navicore starts up it asks if i wish to install extension, to which i reply yes, and it says installed.
So no problems there, but when i look at map where i live there are no icons showing for camera, but nearest poi for camera is 46miles from my home, and in the middle of nowhere....or any road.
Hope i have not confused, but this is all i know......if you can advise will much appreciate.
Kind Regards. |

One other thing i noticed is the file starts out at 300+kb in ov2 format, but once converted to .nce file for use on navicore it ends up being just over 100kb.
Not sure if this is anything or not.
Regards. |

you need to make sure you select the correct map when you carry out the conversion or this happens. |
