Help please
I have downloaded and updated the speed camera POIs on my Navman 510 (V3). That all went smoothly.
But every speed camera icon appears distorted, the gatso icons all look like two red diagonal lines. The bmp files look ok on the PC but do not show up correctly on the Navman display. Any ideas on how to get around this.
Secondly I have downloaded the speed zoned files onto the unit. On the PC the POI manager it lists all my POI files including all of the Specs cameras. However, when disconnected, the specs camera POIs do not list on the unit. Is there a limit on how many POIs can be displayed or stored on the unit? I have got quite a few different POI files but filtering them for "specs" shows nothing when there should be 8 files.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

I knew the answer was out there some where but searching give too many hits unless you used the correct words.
I changed bmp file settings and I can see the icons again
Thanks for the help |

I find the same with my GO 700.
The PGPSW Icons for the camera are all fine, and when they flash in the top left corner they're fine.
But I have noticed my other POI's (eg TESCO) is fine when viewed on the Map, but when it warns me of one and starts flashing in the top left, it's all distorted... is there a solution to this on the GO's?

Never heard of, or seen, that before Gadget.
My guess is that it must be that some of your added icons are the wrong size/shape/format. IIRC they need to be 22x22 pixels and were 8 bit colour originally but changed to 16 bit in v6 software.
Easiest thing to do would be to have a look at one of the ones that DO work OK in whatever "paint" software you have on your PC, and then try to match the others to that one's format. |

Cheers Andy.. I'll do that.
I noticed today that a few I passed seemed to work ok, so it may just be the Tesco one...
I'll do as you say and match the guilty ones to the correct size and format!
