I have a Garmin i3 street pilot. I have installed a speed camera poi file which works fine. Does anyone know if there is a way of making the audible noise start working at a higher speed ie when there is a 70mph camera the audible noise wont start until you do 75mph. |

Hi,
If you open the .csv files in excel you can will see that each camera will have a speed associated with it i.e Mobile4567@70.
Simply do a search all '@70' and replace with '@75'
Reload the pois
Constant alerts will now be at 75 MPH.

May sound dumb, but doesn't this defeat the point of the warning as you'll already be exceeding the limit and may get flashed? _________________ Garmin i3 gone (sold on eBay)

Cameras GENERALLY flash at Speed plus 10% plus 1 mph - i.e. 70 mph limit cameras flash at 70 + 7 + 1 mph = 78 mph. Some MAY flash below that speed but not take a picture. |
