Hi,
I'm a new I3 owner, and generally very pleased with the unit. In my haste to get the thing up and running, I gave a slightly wrong address for my "Home" location. Is there any way to change it? I can't find an option to delete a favourite selectively, and adding a new "Home" creates Home 1 (and then presumably Home 2, and so on). Any ideas? |

Hi,
To delete favorites you need to do a 'hard' reset.
Simply hold the back button and scroll wheel in, and turn on the i3.
You will get a message asking if you want to erase all user data.
Only downside is that it will erase all your favorites.
Another option is to download Easy GPS (freeware) and transfer your favorites onto your PC. You can then delete the the favorites individually and reload the ones you want back onto the i3.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply; I have seen references to Easy GPS and had a quick look at their website a couple of days ago. It seemed more about editing "waypoints", and I wasn't sure it was quite what I was after, but I'll have another look. |

I've just RTFM'd from the Garmin website, and it says you can "Change Name", "Change Map Symbol" or "Delete" after selecting a favourite. Unfortunately, I haven't got the I3 in front of me right now to try it, but I can't think how I missed that! |
