interesting.. what it seems to do is create a working v610 version of tomtom on my PC screen which uses my settings.. i assume it gets this from the mothership if it was really my tomtom it would have the v615 software.. it also dosnt use my voice camera warnings but apart from that its neat and clever..
a nearly excact facsimile on screen.. it shows the tomtom charging as well but i think thats fake..
i spose this is what u get with the new "one"..

Sorry if I 'm missing something, but isn't this simply what Home is supposed to do? |

yes it seems it is.. but it didnt do it for me.. i just assumed that it was for the newer stuff like the one and such not the older 300/500/700 series..
lets not forget the first home didnt even work with the older cards..
so i now have something i though was new.. but it isnt i should have had it all along.. he he he
it also show my a lack of faith.. in my world u dont get the new stuff with old hardware.. else there would be less folks inclned to buy the new hardware..
so just ignore my discovery of something old i thought was new.. he he he.. my eureka is everybody else history..

No mate... you go for it! :D
Didn't mean anything nasty... you're talking to someone who hasn't had the guts to even TRY Home yet! |

i have only bin useing it for about a week.. i thought "so what".. another spy tool that reports my every move to the mothership.. he he he
that is one of its purposes or could be.. but the when the "virtual" tomtom suddenly popped up on my PC screen i was impressed.. he he
now all it needs is some fancy software that shows full size maps and lets me plug my tomtom into my laptop and have some fun..
in essence a bigger virtual tomtom and a windows emulator.. just dreaming..
