Ever wondered which Maps works with your TomTom Software?

We get so many questions about Map Version; "what's the difference", "What's in it", "What's not in it", that we've decided to ask for your help.

This is for all TomTom Platforms, V5 and V6.

What Map build Version are you using with your Software?

And what Software Version are you using?

Have you downloaded a Map and it doesn't work with a particular Software Version?

If you don't know where to find the Details, here's how:

Tap the Screen at the bottom where the Satellite Signal Graph is.

Tap the next screen where the Software Version Number is displayed.

In the next Screen the Software Version, App, is shown on the 2nd line. We just need the 1st 4 digits inside the brackets.

Further down is Maps:, with the name of the Map. The V number is the build number of the Map which we would also like.

We can then create a Table showing which Software Versions work with which Map Versions. Then if it's not a YES, it's probably a NO.
