The file sizes seem very small considering 10K+ of cameras. When I install on my Navman 530 and as a check do a goto POI (selecting pocketgps as type) it only offers 2 of 99
Looking at the file with a txt editor it also shows only a very few co ordinates of camers. So regarless of it being a Navman there simply doesnt SEEM to be anything like all the locations.
What am I doing wrong please ? |

Which file have you installed? Also, the 99 listing is a limitation of the Navman search function and does not mean that there are only 99 locations in the file. I assume all your files start with 1? Try putting 2 into the window and se what happens. _________________ Tim |

I'm less concerned with being able to 'go to' a gatso (was just trying to confirm I had all the data) than I am about getting alerts.
entering "2" only gave me a 2nd location (why only 2 out of 99 anyway?)
Its the tiny file size and the fact that an editor shows it only contains a very few locations rather than many THOUSANDS that concerns me.
Doesnt make sense |

Yes the file is surprisingly small and always has been. It is only a very simple database. It will contain all the cameras _________________ Peter

Thanks for the replies everybody. Using excel I now have confidence that the "small" files contain many camera sites. I'm going to just go out and TEST that the installation does or doesnt work by driving round town as soon as I get chance. |
