Like many others, I am new to this. I guess the answers to my queries are somewhere in the forum site but I can't find them, so would very much appreciate some guidance.
I have unzipped the downloaded files for my Garmin C340 Streetpilot. There are four, three of which are: need_help, Licence and Release. The fourth, which I assume is the important one, is pocketgps_uk_sc.gpx.
First question: I thought that a .csv file was also needed, but it isn't there.
Do I need to do some other download?
Second question: Using the Garmin POI Loader, I uploaded the gpx file, apparently successfully (several thousand cameras) to the C340 hard disc, yet in my Custom POIs, there are only 50 listed. Is this because there is not enough room on the hard disc and that I should have used a memory card?
Third (and final!) question: What can I expect to see/hear? Will a speed camera appear on the mapping? Will I get an audible warning?

Afraid I can't answer your other questions as I have an i3, not a C340, but only the closest 50 POIs in any category are displayed.
If you are at a different location, or set a different location on the unit, it will show different POIs - the 50 closest to that place. _________________ Anita
