Hi guys,
Does anyone know of a good POI database that shows small airfields & flying clubs? |

I've seen one for gliding clubs but I haven't seen one for small flying clubs yet. Keep your fingers crossed; if there's one out there, I am sure someone on here will know about it. |

You'll find one on this page
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtompoi.php
which is TomTom ov2 format. However, someone will be along soon I expect and point you towards a ov2 to cvs converter program.
I did this some time ago and have forgotten how. If you PM me with your real e-mail address I forward it on.
However it is quite a bit out of date (i.e. list Hatfield). Also it seems to have been made using the airfield refernce point which is not on a road. My i3 gets me in the general vicinity but has trouble finding the actual entrance to the airfields.......worth having though. |

There's also POIEdit that can convert Files also.

This site may be of some use also.
Again you would need to use poi edit or similar to convrt it.

you lot are so helpful here! Thanks so much guys.... I have never really done any conversations before with these file types. I only got my I3 about a week ago and started to add POI databases last night but I will read up and give it a go! |
