Is anybody else in UK having problems with TTN at around 4pm.
Every afternoon for the past week at around this time I lose the lock on all the sats and it usually lasts until around 4.30 when the system seems to sort itself out. I know it's not my system becasue my wife is having the same problem with her system at exactly the same time. Very odd. Any ideas anyone ? _________________ Gary

I get the same issues, doesn't seem to be just TT, I have my Holux app open and it is finding sats, locking on for a second or two then losing them all. Very annoying when I was in london earlier today!!!
i was finding that TT had 3 sats for a lock then lost them all again! Over and over! |

I'm running TomTom II on an XDA. I also have this problem but hadn't associated it with the time factor. The receiver isn't losing satellites because I can have good signal strength on up to seven sats. Parallel comparison with a Garmin III shows similar signal reception but the Garmin doesn't drop out. Is it possible to run the Garmin as a receiver into the TomTom software and the TomTom receiver into a laptop running Autoroute (which is how I run my Garmin III) to do a straight comparison. This would possibly show where the problem lies. |

I currently use my Garmin Geko as my GPS for TomTom using a lead from PC Mobile. I am not familiar with the Garmin III but of it has an E-type or Round interface port it should be possible. _________________ TomTom Go 520, HTC Wildfire with CoPilot Live Premium UK & CoPilot Live Standard USA |
