Is it possible to use CN7 on Quest 2? as I have 2 friends with streetpilots and would like to have same maps so we can bounce routes about by email they have offered me the mapsource cd and I know that the streetpilot won't take CN8 supplied with the Quest 2. |

Yes, it can be used. But it would violate the licensing terms, since you may only unlock a second GPS to your first one if you own it yourself. _________________ Robert Elsinga =8- )

Thanks Robert
It's just that we all want to be able to share data. I will be phoning Garmin later this week to ask progress on my Q2 which is in for repair and I will ask how much for CN7. Alternatively I could give my Q2 to my friends for free and they can put CN7 on and then I can borrow it |

Bob, you should be able to exchange routes but you will probably have to recalculate them if you are using a different map version.
Ask your frients to try doing a recalculate when they load the route into Mapsource then upload it to the SP _________________ Gone fishing! |
