Hi,
I'm going to Canada for a holiday soon, and will be driving around in the Alberta province. Since I will be touring I see that Tomtom offers a download service for maps and the Canada is offered. I was wondering is it safe to download i.e. if the downloads fails or gets corrupted will I get a 2nd chance or more. Also will it have zip code navigation. Any comments on the quality of the map would be apprecaited.

yes, you can repeat the download if it fails.
Zip codes are included
quality is subjective and differs by province. Alberta is so-so. Calgary/Edmonton are ok but further out it gets a bit thin. Still enough to navigate but don't expect too much from the POIs. _________________ Lutz

Thanks Lutz for the info.
Shame about the POI though.
I'm planning to go to the rockies, hope I don't get lost in the wilderness then. I wait til August, when I'm going, to download the maps so that I get the very latest. |

That would be the safest option. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------
