Either you can use the Google map on the submission page
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras
Or, using the "store GPS position" function, this is how I store them on my Go and then send the results off to PGPSWorld each month:-
Quote: |
Firstly, make a new POI category called "New Cameras" to store them in
(in Change Preferences / Manage POI / Add POI Category).
Set up your preferred warnings and alerts just like the other cameras.
Then:
Method 1 - Store straight into the New Cameras POI category
As you approach the camera, tap to go to to Menu page 1 / Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POI / Add POI / Scroll up or down and select category "New Cameras" / forward arrow / GPS position / then name it.
That's way too many button presses for me when driving, so:
Method 2 - Temorarily store as a Favourite
As you approach the camera, tap screen / Add favourite / forward arrow / GPS position / name it anything (like just "30" or whatever)
Then at your leisure, copy it from the Favourites to the POI category by:
Menu page 1 / Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POI / Add POI / Scroll up or down and select category "New Cameras" / Favourite / select it / then name it properly
If you do it this way (easier to do than to describe!), you will have your own "New Cameras" that appear like all the others,
PLUS you can now send them off to the PocketGPS people at the end of each month (using the "send ov2" box on the same submission page:- http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras) so they can add them to the master database for everyone to use. |
