Hello There
I hope some one can help, i have just purchased a Navman 510 from Morgan computers. It loaded up & picked up a signal, after about half an hour & clicking on various options i can still pick up a signal but now the screen just shows a grid of grey lines ( everything else seems to work of) & when you click on settings, map, memory card , it says no maps loaded!!
Any one any ideas |

My thought is that you may have either navigated beyond the range of the map or that you have disturbed the SD card.
With the unit off try taking out and re-insert the SD card, turn the unit back on and hopefully all will be well. _________________ Navman ICN 520

BobbyBarlow,
I think that you may have inadvertently turned the maps off, or as Nortonbeak says, you may have disturbed the SD/MMC card.
On my 510, if I remove and reinsert the card, it goes through a "loading maps" routine and you can check that it's actually reloading the UK regional maps.
The other thing to check is that you've not altered the "settings" menu where you say which maps the unit is supposed to load off the SD/MMC card.
Mine lost all its maps when I was trying to back the SD card up in a dodgy card reader. The only way around this was (once I'd bought a new reader/writer) to reinstall the maps via SmartST desktop and to back it up once it was working ok. _________________ tomtom one v2 - 7.162
