With the speed camera database there are a LOT of POI sets to which to associate a POI warning distance (and sound). Is it held in a file somewhere that I can backup/restore?
Also, is such a file editable easily? The UI on TTN5 is painful when there are lots to set up.
I can't find this as a FAQ - please feel free to point me at another thread if there is one.

If you have a look at this thread, it should point the way. _________________ Richard

That thread was talking about saving of POI's. I'm after where the settings for proximity warnings are held.
POI Catagories, and for each catagory,
proximity distance,
warning sound, and
on route/off route
Is that supposed to be in the the same file referenced in the thread?

The thread was talking about losing Favourites and POI settings.
All the Main User Settings are held in a .cfg File and on a PDA it is found in My Device\Program Files\Navigator.
A common practice seems to be to make a Copy of the File onto the SD Card, so that if the original file is lost, or corrupted, it can be copied back. _________________ Richard

just a few more details to add to Oldboys post. The voices (or proximity warnings) are held in the Data.chk file within Program Files/ Navigator along with the navigator.exe itself. _________________ XDA Orbit (the best so far)
