|
|
Hello. Just bought navigator 5 to go on my XDAIIi. Works very well and has found me a much quicker route to work, but it freezes whenever I get an incoming call. Is this a common problem? Is there anything I can do to resolve the situation?
Thanks in advance |

My TTN3 used to work fine on my XDA2, using Lexar 33x SD card, but since I've upgraded to 5.21, I too suffer froim freezes on incoming calls.
I've bough a Transcend 150x card (as it was the same price as the 80x card), but when I compare the two cards (Lexar 33x vs Transcend 150x) tom tom takes exactly the same time to calculate a route from John O'Groats to Lands End (70 secs), whichever card I use and when I put the sd cards into the built in sd card slot on my toshiba laptop the data transfer rate is the same on both cards too (it takes about 26 secs to copy the cline 60mb map file from the card to pc).
Are Transcend inflating the data transfer rate? Or maybe are they measuring the multiple speed factor in a different way? |

I always put mine on "Flight Mode" when using Tomtom, this disables the phone functions.
Might not be a solution if you rely on your phone for being in contact when travelling though! |
