Has anyone done this upgrade to their 510 and felt the £30 was not money well spent ?
Regards

Cheers Mate.
Looking at your set up I decide to apply Service Pack 1 and have found it to be all I need. I require my Navam to work as Navman designed and this is improved by applying Service Pack 1. The speaking tart (Thats what we call her, I'm sure she is welsh) has now stopped telling me to "Perform a U-Turn where possible" and is now directing me locally where I feel she should.
My recommendation is, don't spend £30 upgrading to Smart 2005 and don't unlock your Navman.
Cheers

Mmmm KP, I suspect that although my device is working very well, it could be improved with the addition of both the Smart 2005 software and upgraded maps. However, £99 ++ is a lot of money to be paid out when the thing is working well at the moment. This year (just) - 2005, I motored some 4500 miles on holiday around Europe and relied on the Navman instead of my wife's navigation. It was great - except, of course in Eastern Europe where it has no cover. Its all a matter of economics I'm afraid. _________________ Gee-Pee
