I'm running TT5 on my XDAiiS, after about 10 mins the program stops. I restart it and then it runs for less than a minute. This keeps happening until I reboot the pda then it'll start all over again from around 10 mins down.
Has anyone else hads this happen and how do you cure it.
Cheers in advance. |

Don't forget that with TT you need 5,1 or 5,2 in order that the on screen keyboard will work in the postcode mode, I nearly threw my IIs away until I had worked this little bit out (the active etc) - if you need to know any settings (web GPRS etc) let me know I will send them over - Mike |

That hasn't cured the TT5 fault but has made the pda easier/quicker to use.
TT5 was working a treat before I upgraded the XDA's firmware from the O2 site. |

Which ROM version have you loaded, the latest is ROM 1.40.00 WWE, date 03/10/05 Radio 1.12.00 Protocol 1337.42 Ext ROM version 1.40.237 WWE, When you re-loaded TT and any other programs you did re-install from the original disks via act sync, and NOT from any back-up you might have had, as this will make the problem worse than before (believe me I am talking from bitter experiance) - One othe thought, try disabling the POIs - just set them up to warn when near instead - Mike |

Yep I'm on the ROM versions you mentioned above and have reloaded my TT5 from the disk rather from a back up. I don't have any POI's enabled apart from the cameras which is set as a warning as before.
Thanks for your help. |

One final thought do you have anything that is using the phones GPRS connection, e-mail, RSS or traffic, if so disable it and try again - I have never experianced this with my IIs though. It might also be possible that the ROM load became corupt, you could try a hard reset then re-load the ROM from scratch - Mike |
