|
|
I've got TT5.1 working (at long last) on my Mio168 (although I'm still having CheckPOInt 5 problems grrr.....) and have tried a number of configurations for the GPS receiver (all on SP2 mind) which seem to work fine and dandy.
I tend to use the 'Other Cable NMEA GPS' setting with 4800 baud on SP2 and this works ok but, like on the other settings, the route planner ALWAYS shows '0 satellites' and there are no bars on the navigator screen even though TT5 is obviously working and giving me directions etc.
Any ideas ? |

The GSV NMEA sequence is missing. Either add that (via WinFast Navigator) or simply live with it. _________________ Lutz

No problem - have now found Winfast Navigator.....but think I'll live without the bars.....maybe then next PPC release of TT will resolve it ? |

Next release of TT won't solve it, the problem is the GPS reveiver not sending out the GSV sentance (as Lutz stated above), not TomTom. |
